Theo has now been taken to theatre. Today the focus is on the right hand joint. A little “maintenance work”, a screw or perhaps a small plate if needed.
We will keep you updated.
Very sore, but all appears to have gone well.
Update
Post X-rays unfortunately showed that the screw that went through may further damage the fragmented cartilage. It protrudes by 1 mm. So Theo is staying overnight and will go back to theatre tomorrow to have the screw removed and another screw inserted. If that does not work successfully, they will instead insert a plate with 5 small screws.

Good morning everyone, we are still waiting to see the doctor as soon as he has had a chance to look at the post X-rays. The two days of anaesthesia in a row have taken a bit of a toll on Theo today. He is very nauseous and his throat is sore.
Update
The doctor has looked at the X-rays and was here just now. Everything went well. Theo will also be discharged today.
